BIRDHURST OUT OF SCHOOL CLUB Are you looking for Out-of-School care for your children? Birdhurst Kids Club is just the right place for you and your children, they make lots of new friends to have fun with, in a safe and fun filled environment with lots of different experiences. Our aim is to provide a welcoming atmosphere for parents/ carers as well as the children and to provide a fun filled - and safe environment for the children to play in. Here is some information about the club that we hope you will find helpful when trying to find out of school care for your child:- At Birdhurst Out-of- School Club we have a fun loving team of childcare workers both qualified and experienced who will make all children and parents feel relaxed and welcome. We cater for all children between 4 – 11yrs (Primary School age).
Varied sessions make use of our indoor and large outdoor areas where there are great opportunities to have fun in both individual and group activities. The children have a choice to take part in any activity they wish in a safe environment. The staff at Birdhurst promote positive behaviour and give lots of praise when the children are well behaved. The After School Club collects a number of children from Elmhurst & Park Hill Primary. Children from other schools are very welcome but, please note that parents / carers would need to arrange transfers from school to club.
The After School (term time) club collects from Elmhurst, and Park Hill Primary schools. Children from other schools are very welcome but, parents /carers would need to arrange transfers from school to club. We positively welcome children with additional needs, and will be happy to discuss what we can do to ensure they can play safely. The club provide a healthy meal which can consist of pasta, jacket potatoes, fruit salad etc.
		We have lots of fun during the Holiday Playschemes. As well as arranging activities on our site we include visits to local parks, swimming, museums, cinemas,bowling and longer outings to places of interest (Bluebell Railway, Thames Barrier and even Brighton beach when the weather is nice) and much much more.
The club is registered with Ofsted (Reg No 124898) and is regularly inspected. Our aim is to provide a welcoming atmosphere for parents/carers as well as children. Regular feedback to parents from staff is a normal part of our work with children. Fees are reviewed annually - typically with any increases effective in April.
