CHRISTIAN
STRATEGY
Christian Family Concern seeks to be
Christian in more than just name. Our Christianity is also
much more than a relic of our history. Our faith, and its expression,
is central to everything we are and do.
|
|
|
Our
vision of family life and the source of our strength to work
towards
it, in often complex and difficult times, both stem from
our trust in a God who loves us and created us to love others.
Of course, our services are offered to all, regardless of
faith, but we like to think that everything that happens
on our site reflects that love of God and we pray that that
may indeed be the case.
|
|
| |
We
have a Christian Strategy group, made up of senior staff
members, whose task it is to keep this at the forefront of
our minds. In everything from the displays around the site
and the organising times of prayer for members of staff to
ensuring the ethos behind all of our activities are clear,
we seek to keep Christ central.
|
| |

Christian Family Concern seeks to express the love of Christ
in action.
It provides services
to help parents meet their children’s
needs, to support the welfare of young people and works with
all sections of the community without discrimination.

One
of the most obvious things we do is organising an annual
Thanksgiving Service. Held in recent years in a marquee on
site, it’s a fun opportunity for all of us to get together
and celebrate God’s goodness to us.
We see this very much as an time for all those involved with Christian Family
Concern, whether Children, parents / carers or supporters to be involved in
a witness of God’s love in action.

|
|
We would ask our supporters to continue upholding
the work of Christian Family Concern in their prayer time. Our
quarterly newsletter includes a weekly prayer diary which may
help to focus on areas of our work.
If there are any suggestions you would like to make or would
like to talk to our Christian Strategy Group please phone or
email to info@christianfamilyconcern.org.uk
